PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED FY 2027 BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF OAK RIDGE, TENNESSEE Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, will conduct two (2) public hearings during two (2) regular meetings of the City Council which begin at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2026 and Monday, June 8, 2026 in the Municipal Building Courtroom at 200 S. Tulane Avenue, on the City's proposed FY 2027 budget. All citizens are welcome to attend and to participate. Copies of the proposed FY 2027 budget will be available for public review at the Oak Ridge Public Library and the City Clerk's Office in the Municipal Building during regular business hours. A budget summary will be available for viewing on the City's website at www.oakridgetn.gov. Following the public hearings, City Council will consider the following ordinance: AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE REVENUE FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 2026, BY IMPOSING A TAX ON ALL PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY, FIXING THE RATE OF THE TAX, ADOPTING A BUDGET, AND ADOPTING APPROPRIATIONS.
