Public Hearing A public meeting of the Western Lane Fire and EMS Authority, Siuslaw Valley Fire and Rescue, and Western Lane Ambulance District will be held on July 23, 2026 at 6:00pm at 2625 Highway 101, Florence, Oregon 97439. The purpose of this hearing is to receive public comment regarding the Authority's proposed exemption from the competitive bidding requirements pursuant to ORS 279C.335(2). The Board will consider all oral and written comments received during the public hearing before acting on the proposed findings and exemption. A copy of the draft findings supporting the exemption is available for public inspection during regular business hours at the Western Lane Fire and EMS Authority Administrative Office, 2625 Highway 101, Florence, Oregon, and may also be obtained off the website at www.wlfea.org or by contacting the Authority at (541) 997-3212.
