PUBLIC HEARING (S) ON
PROPOSED ENACTMENT ORDINANCE(S)
The City Commission of the City of Daytona Beach will meet and hold public hearings on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., in the Commission Chambers, Room 290, City Hall, 301 South Ridgewood Avenue, Daytona Beach, Florida. The proposed Ordinance(s) listed by title below will be considered for final adoption. The public may inspect the proposed Ordinance(s) at the City Clerk's Office, Room 210, City Hall, 301 South Ridgewood Avenue, Daytona Beach, Florida. All interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed Ordinance(s). Any person who decides to appeal any decision made by the City Commission will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose, he/she may need to ensure, at his/her own expense, the taking and preparation of a verbatim record of all testimony and evidence of the proceeding upon which the appeal is to be based.

The title(s) of the proposed Ordinance(s) are as follows:
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING INTO THE CITY OF DAYTONA BEACH, 0.6067+ ACRES OF LAND GENERALLY LOCATED WEST OF THE INTERSECTION OF TAYLOR AND CAROL LEE STREET CONTINUING SOUTH WITH A TERMINUS JUST NORTH OF THE SOUTHWESTERLY CURVATURE OF WESLEY STREET; REDEFINING THE TERRITORIAL BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF DAYTONA BEACH TO INCLUDE THE PROPERTY; REDESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF ZONE 5 OF THE CITY OF DAYTONA BEACH TO INCLUDE THE PROPERTY; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE TO REZONE 0.61± ACRES OF PROPERTY, GENERALLY LOCATED 500 FEET NORTH OF THE INTERSECTION OF LPGA BOULEVARD AND JIMMY ANN DRIVE/WESLEY STREET, FROM R-4 (VOLUSIA COUNTY-RESIDENTIAL-4) TO PD-G (PLANNED DEVELOPMENT-GENERAL); APPROVING THE SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE SUNGLOW MINI-STORAGE COMPLEX PLANNED DISTRICT AGREEMENT TO INCORPORATE AN ADDITIONAL 0.61± ACRES OF PROPERTY INTO THE PLANNED DISTRICT AND TO REVISE THE LANDSCAPE AND TREE PRESERVATION REQUIREMENTS TO REDUCE THE OVERALL LANDSCAPING PROVIDED ON SITE; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE THE FOURTH AMENDMENT; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DAYTONA BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2023-69, TO CONTRACT THE BOUNDARIES OF THE WAYPOINTE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 190, FLORIDA STATUTES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN INCREASE IN THE RATE CHARGED BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR FINGERPRINTING SERVICES FROM $5.00 TO $10.00 FOR CITY RESIDENTS AND FROM $10.00 TO $20.00 FOR NON-CITY RESIDENTS; AUTHORIZING FUTURE CHANGES IN SUCH SERVICE RATES TO BE APPROVED BY RESOLUTION; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
