Public Notice Amrize Inc. 1260 Security Road Hagerstown, MD 21742 BLASTING NOTICE Amrize Inc., 1260 Security Road, Hagerstown, MD 21742, will conduct blasting operations from 01/01/2026 to 12/31/2026 in compliance with all state and federal laws at the Amrize Inc. Security Quarry in Washington County, Maryland. Production blasting will occur between the hours of 7 a.m. and 12 noon and/or between 12 noon and 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday - weather permitting. This schedule will be followed except during adverse weather conditions (that will prevent blasting), unless the operator requires unscheduled detonations for public safety, or other special conditions. Warning signs will be posted at all entrances of the operation. A warning siren will be sounded (3) times each of long durations (5 seconds plus) or (2) minutes or more before detonation. After the blast and once the area has been inspected by the blaster, one (1) lone siren will be sounded as an "All Clear" signal.
