Public Notice Board of Adjustment Town of Strafford, NH Please be advised that the Strafford Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at the Strafford Town Hall, 12 Mountain View Drive, at 6:30 PM concerning the following applications and any other business that may properly come before the Board. Peter Carswell is requesting a Special Exception under Article 1.7.1, Non-conforming Use of the Zoning and Land Use Ordinances in order to construct a 5 foot by 15 foot addition to the width of the existing deck located on the southerly end of his existing non-conforming home. The existing deck comes within approximately 42 feet of the shoreline of Bow Lake, which is up to 8 feet closer to Bow Lake than current ordinances require.
