ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS 25-01
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the requirements of the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act, PA 110 of 2006, as amended, the General Ordinances of the City of Marine City, and the Rules and Regulations of the Marine City Zoning Board of Appeals that on Wednesday November 5, 2025, beginning at 5:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows, at the Marine City Municipal Offices, 260 S. Parker Street, Marine City, Michigan, the Marine City Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a Public Hearing to consider a Zoning Variance application as follows:
ZBA Appeal No. 25-01
Applicant: Senger Brothers, LLC, 240 Superior Avenue, Marine City, MI 48039 requesting two (2) Zoning Ordinance Variances for the following multiple platted properties:
Tax Parcel ID Number: 74-02-925-0063-001, Commonly known as 952 West Blvd, Marine City, MI 48039
LOTS 3 THRU 5 AND LOTS 7 THRU 22 BLK 5 AARON G WESTBROOK ADDITION TO VILLAGE OF MARINE CITY
Variance one requests is to allow a rear yard zoning set back of 19.5 feet which is less than the 33 feet as required per ordinance to accommodate proposed construction design standards. This variance applies to lots A through D and Lots 5, 7-18.
Variance two requests is to allow a rear yard zoning set back of 24 feet which is less than the 35 feet as required per ordinance to accommodate proposed construction design standards. This variance applies to lots 3 and 4.
A complete copy of the application and proposed plans may be examined at Marine City Municipal Offices, 260 S. Parker Street, Marine City, Michigan, prior to the public hearing, during the City's regular business hours. Citizen comments are welcome and may be given at the Public Hearing. Written comments may be addressed to the Zoning Board of Appeals at the municipal office address above until 4:00pm on October 31, 2025.
