PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE SOUTHERN YORK COUNTY REGIONAL COMPREHENSIVE PLAN Notice is hereby given that the Borough Council of Railroad Borough, York County, Pennsylvania, will hold a public hearing on October 21, 2025 at 7:00pm, at the Railroad Borough Hall, to receive public comment on the proposed Southern York County Regional Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan has been developed collaboratively by Shrewsbury Township, Shrewsbury Borough, Glen Rock Borough, New Freedom Borough, and Railroad Borough through the Southern York County Regional Planning Commission. It outlines a shared vision for land use, housing, transportation, community facilities, natural resources, and intergovernmental cooperation for the region. Copies of the proposed plan are available for public review at the Railroad Borough municipal office during regular business hours. At the conclusion of the hearing, the Council/Board shall consider adopting and, if appropriate, will take a vote on adoption at the regularly scheduled elected officials meeting immediately following the public hearing. All interested parties are invited to attend the hearing and offer comments. Written comments may also be submitted to the Railroad Borough office prior to the hearing.
