Public Notice of Summons Issued to OSMANI MANUEL PERALTA GUERRA in Child Custody Matter In the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland comes HANNAH LUCIA ANTON ELIZABETH vs. OSMANI MANUEL PERALTA GUERRA, Case No.: C-15-FM-24-006842. A Complaint for Custody was filed with the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland on October 24, 2024. The Plaintiff and her minor child have resided in Montgomery County, Maryland, since May 2024. The Complaint alleges, in substance, that the Plaintiff and Defendant are the biological parents of minor child in interest (YOB: 2017), the parties are citizens and nationals of Nicaragua, Defendant is not a fit and proper caretaker, Defendant has not supported the minor child financially or emotionally, Defendant has abandoned the minor child and there has been no contact, in-person, telephonically, written or otherwise, since at least October 2024. Plaintiff simultaneously filed with her initial Complaint a Motion for Findings of Special Immigrant Eligibility. In addition, Plaintiff filed an Amended Complaint for Custody on November 18, 2024, in support of the aforementioned case issues and relief sought for sole legal and physical custody of the minor child. Plaintiff has made numerous service attempts via private process attempts on February 3, 2025, February 14, 2025, February 17, 2025, and July 12, 2025. Additionally, it was attempted to reach Defendant through other means, to include: calling Defendant's last known, self-reported phone number, resulting in leaving a voicemail and sending follow-up text messages which went unanswered; performing a skip trace; searching social media and online resources; and contacting Defendant's last known employer, who advised Defendant's whereabouts are unknown and was no longer employed with the business. It is this 12th day of November, 2025, ORDERED, that the Plaintiff cause a copy of this notice to be published at least once a week for three consecutive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation published in Morris County, New Jersey; publication to be completed by January 06, 2026; Defendant must file a response on or before February 15, 2026; Defendant is warned that failure to file a response within the time allowed may result in a default judgment or the granting of the relief sought.
