PUBLIC NOTICE TO THE TAXPAYERS OF THE FAIRVIEW FIRE DISTRICT: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a resolution was duly adopted by the Board of Fire Commissioners of the FAIRVIEW FIRE DISTRICT, Town of Greenburgh, County of Westchester, State of New York, on the 11 day of September, 2025, subject to permissive referendum as provided for by the Town Law. The extract of the minutes as follows: WHEREAS, the Board has determined to sell such 2003 KME AERIAL LADDER at more than twenty thousand ($20,000.00) dollars and less than one hundred thousand ($100,000.00) dollars, subject to market forces, in accordance with the authority vested in the Board of Fire Commissioners under Section 176 subdivision 23 of the Town Law. Sale of said vehicle is subject to a permissive referendum as required under Section 176 subdivision 23 of the Town Law and in accordance with procedures for permissive referendums as described in the General Municipal Law.
