PUBLIC NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village/Town of Mount Kisco, New York (the "Zoning Board") will hold a public hearing on November 18, 2025, in the Frank J. DiMicco, Sr. room, located within Village Hall in the Municipal Building, 104 Main Street, Mount Kisco, New York, beginning at 7:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the matter may come to be heard, pursuant to §7-712-a(12) of New York State Village Law, on the request for rehearing made by applicants Rosario Valvano and Carmine Valvano, which request was unanimously approved by the Zoning Board on June 17, 2025, to rehear and reconsider a decision of the Zoning Board made on January 21, 1975, and filed on January 29, 1975, which denied an application seeking a determination that the existence of the three-family home in a two-family district was a lawfully permitted use. The property is known as 2 West Street, Mount Kisco, New York, is described on the Village Tax Map as Section 80.40, Block 5, Lot 1.1, and is located in the RT-6, One- and Two-Family Residence Zoning District. The applicants are asking the Zoning Board to find that the residence on the property constitutes a lawful preexisting nonconforming use.
