Public Notice BEFORE THE STATE OIL AND GAS BOARD OF MISSISSIPPI RE: PETITION OF CHISOS, LTD COMPANY FOR AN EXTENSION OF INACTIVE WELL STATUS UNDER STATEWIDE RULE 28 FOR WELLS LOCATED IN THE SANDY HOOK W. FIELD IN MARION COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI DOCKET NO. 15-2026-D TAKE NOTICE, that Chisos, LTD ("Petitioner") has filed a Petition with the Mississippi State Oil and Gas Board under the above docket requesting an extension of the inactive well(s) classification under Statewide Rule 28 for F. E. Forbes, Jr. No. 1 (API No. 2309120117), Maxie Forbes Etal 1 No. 1 (API No. 2309120058), J. W. Hart No. 1 (API No. 2309120077) and Jones No. 1 (API No. 2309120541) (the "Wells") located in the Sandy Hook W. Field, Marion County, Mississippi and for other relief as set forth in the Petition. The Petition in this matter is on file in the records in the office of the Mississippi State Oil and Gas Board and may be examined there. The Petition will be heard by said Board at 9:00 a.m. on the 21st day of January 2026, at 500 Greymont Avenue, Suite E, Jackson, Mississippi 39202 at which time and place you may appear and contest said matter. If you intend to contest the docket or request a continuance, you must notify the Board and the Petitioner's representative of your intention in writing not later than 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2026, being seven (7) days prior to the date stated above for the hearing. Failure to so notify the Board and the Petitioner's representative shall be a waiver of your right to contest or request a continuance. You are advised the Board may adopt an order concerning a Petition which may differ from the relief requested by the Petitioner and the Board will enter such order or orders as in its judgment may be appropriate in accordance with the evidence presented.
