BOROUGH OF RUMSON
ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
PUBLIC NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT on the 28th day of May, 2026 at 7:30 pm at the Rumson Municipal Building, 80 East River Road, Rumson, New Jersey, the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Borough of Rumson will hold a public hearing on the application of Ryan and Courtney Zanetich, at which time all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard.
The location of the premises in question is in the R-4 Zone as shown on the Borough Tax Map, Block 23, Lot 8 and commonly known as 4 North Cherry Lane, Rumson, New Jersey. The Applicant is seeking approval for the following: 1st Floor Addition (Infill an existing bump-in) and replacement of several windows with a sliding patio door; 2nd Floor Addition and Interior Renovations (bathroom, laundry,
closet and connection between separate 2nd floor areas) for an existing single family residence.
The Applicant is applying for the following variances: Borough of Rumson Ordinances / Development Regulations: Schedule 5-1 (Zoning District Regulations): Maximum Floor Area (Cap): 3,500 Square Feet Permitted, 3,636 Square Feet Existing, 3,807 Square Feet Proposed. There are existing nonconformities that are unchanged by the proposed work: Minimum Side Yard Setback: 9.5 Feet Required, 9.2 Feet Existing to Remain.
All persons interested in this application will be given ample opportunity to be heard at the above. A copy of the application and supporting documents are on file at the Rumson Municipal Building, 80 East River Road, Rumson, New Jersey and can be examined on the Borough website (www.rumsonnj.gov) under the "Government" tab, then selecting "Zoning Board".
