PUBLIC NOTICE
Please take notice that Daniel V. DiRenzo III ("Applicant") has filed an application for development with the West Deptford Township Planning Board ("Board") regarding real property located at the intersection of Crown Point Road and Salem Avenue, and designated as block 253, lots 1 & 2 on the municipal tax map. The Applicant seeks minor site plan approval to construct a 2,000 s.f. building with separate shipping containers and associated improvements to be used as a technical school for adult rescue training. This construction would include classroom space for fire rescue training, office space, and storage. The proposed shipping containers would be utilized solely as on-site training props, for the purpose of fire rescue training; this includes rope rescue training and structural collapse training for both public and private agencies, governmental and industrial partners
The Applicant also seeks approval of the following variance under the municipal land use ordinance:
1. Section 166-20(C)(1) requires a minimum 25 ft. front yard setback. The Applicant proposes a 15.6 ft. front yard setback.
The Applicant also requests any additional variances, submission waivers, exceptions, design waivers, de minimis exceptions, interpretations, modifications of conditions of prior approvals, continuation of any preexisting non-conforming conditions, conditional use approval, other approvals reflected on the plans (as same may be further amended or revised from time to time without further notice) as may be determined to be necessary during the review and processing of the application by the Board and its professional staff, and permits requested or required by the Board at the public hearing.
This application shall be considered by the Board at a public hearing on May 26, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. in-person at the West Deptford Township, Municipal Building, 400 Crown Point Road, West Deptford, New Jersey 08086, at which time you may appear either in person or through an attorney and present any objection that you may have to the granting of this application. A copy of the application and supporting documentation is on file in the Board's office in the West Deptford Township, Municipal Building, 400 Crown Point Road, West Deptford, New Jersey, and is available for public inspection during regular business hours.
