Public Notice
In accordance with Chapter 1159 of the Zoning Code of the City of Lancaster, notice is hereby given that the Lancaster Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on May 14, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. The meeting will take place in the 2nd Floor Conference Room, located at 104 E. Main Street, Lancaster, Ohio.
The purpose of the hearing is to consider proposed zoning map amendments for the following properties:
1568 & 1582 E. Main Street — from a Mobile Home Community District to a Commercial General District
300–318 N. Columbus Street — from a Residential Transitional District to a Commercial Neighborhood District
301–434 N. Memorial Drive — from a Residential Transitional District to a Commercial Neighborhood District
872 E. Wheeling Street & 113 N. Cherry Street — from a Residential Transitional District to a Commercial Neighborhood District
1540 Campground Road — from a Residential Multi-Family District to an Advanced Manufacturing District
2130 W. Fair Avenue — from a Residential Multi-Family District to a Commercial Neighborhood District
1233 & 1267 N. Columbus Street — from a Residential Transitional District to a Commercial General District
1223 N. Columbus Street — from a Commercial General District to a Residential Transitional District
316 Sylvan Avenue & 1117 W. Mulberry Street — from a Residential Transitional District to an Advanced Manufacturing District
402–450 E. Locust Street & 401–415 S. Maple Street — from a Residential Transitional District to a Commercial Neighborhood District
