PUBLIC NOTICE BEFORE THE STATE OIL AND GAS BOARD OF MISSISSIPPI RE: PETITION OF MAGNETAR EXPLORATION, L.P. TO ESTABLISH TEMPORARY SPECIAL FIELD RULES FOR THE PRAIRIE CHAPEL FIELD, LOWNDES COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI DOCKET NO. 233-2026-D TO: All persons interested in the Prairie Chapel Field, being the following described lands in Lowndes Conty, Mississippi: LOWNDES COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI TOWNSHIP 18 NORTH, RANGE 17 EAST Sections 19, 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33 and the W/2 of 34 TOWNSHIP 18 NORTH, RANGE 16 EAST Sections 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 35 and 36 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at the next regular meeting of the State Oil and Gas Board of Mississippi to be held beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, in the Hearing Room, 500 Greymont Ave., Suite E, Jackson, Mississippi 39202, the State Oil and Gas Board of Mississippi (the "Board") will hear the Petition of Magnetar Exploration, L.P. to have the Board adopt Temporary Special Field Rules for Prairie Chapel Field for the Devonian and Ordovician Carbonate gas pool, spacing, and for such other relief. A copy of this Petition is on file in the Office of the State Oil and Gas Board of Mississippi and may be there examined by any person interested. At said hearing, all interested persons may appear to be heard. If you intend to contest the docket or request a continuance, you must notify the Board and the Petitioner's representative of your intention in writing not later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, being seven (7) days prior to the date stated above for the hearing. Failure to so notify the Board and the Petitioner shall be a waiver of your right to contest or request a continuance. You are advised the Board may adopt orders concerning a petition which may differ from the relief requested by the Petitioner and the Board will enter such order or orders as in its judgment may be appropriate in accordance with the evidence presented.
