Public Notice Duke Energy (1000 E. Main St., Plainfield, IN 46168) is submitting a Notice of Intent to the Indiana Department of Environmental Management of our intent to comply with the requirements of the Construction Stormwater General Permit to discharge stormwater from a project construction and land disturbing activity. This planned discharge is associated with the Duke Energy 13823 GLT Project located in Daviess, Martin, and Lawrence Counties, Indiana. The starting point for the Project is 38.863279, -86.575606 located in unincorporated Lawrence County west of the City of Bedford. The stormwater runoff from the project will primarily discharge via sheet flow to subsurface tile drains and unnamed tributaries to Smothers Creek, Killion Canal, Prairie Creek, and tributaries to East Fork White River. The stormwater will ultimately discharge to White River via the East Fork of the White River.
