PUBLIC NOTICE TOWNSHIP OF HAVEN SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 2025-08 (MINERAL EXTRACTION ORDINANCE) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of the Township of Haven, Sherburne County, Minnesota, have adopted Ordinance No. 2025-08 (Haven Township Mineral Extraction Ordinance) effective immediately. Said ordinance regulates gravel and mineral extraction in all areas of Haven Township. The regulations include, but are not limited to, a requirement for an interim use permit, a limit on the amount of land that could be actively mined at one time, required setbacks from mining areas to residences, property lines and bodies of water, required information and plans relating to mitigating negative impacts on surrounding properties and natural features and implementation of various performance standards. A printed copy of the Ordinance in its entirety is available for inspection by appointment by any person at the office of the Town Clerk, Haven Township Hall, 4230 45th Ave SE, St. Cloud, MN 56304.
