Public Spray Notice
In compliance with Subchapter 9.10 of the New Jersey Pesticide Control (NJ PCP) code NJAC 7:30 notice is hereby given that New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJ DEP) may be applying an aquatic pesticide by boat to control invasive fish species in the Upper Mullica River watershed located near Hopewell Rd and Jackson Rd, Berlin and Waterford Twsps, NJ, during the month of April. The aquatic pesticide to be used is Prenfish Fish Toxicant (rotenone) EPA Reg. #89459-85; issued by licensed applicator Tyler Tresslar (#62357B), 50 Pequest Dr, Belvidere, NJ. Any person needing additional information on this activity is requested to contact Shawn Crouse, Bureau Chief of Freshwater Fisheries, 1255 County Rd 629, Lebanon, NJ at 609-947-6391. Upon request, the pesticide applicator/business shall provide a resident with notification of at least 12 hours prior to the application, except for Quarantine and Disease Vector Control only, when conditions necessitate pesticide applications sooner than that time.
