Quality Tree Service of West Michigan, Inc., located at 1350 E. 8th St. White Cloud, MI 49349, will be applying herbicides to vegetation on METC Right of Ways in Allegan, Barry, Berrien, Branch, Calhoun, Cass, Clinton, Eaton, Gratiot, Hillsdale, Ingham, Ionia, Isabella, Jackson, Kalamazoo, Kent, Lake, Lenawee, Livingston, Manistee, Mason, Mecosta, Midland, Monroe, Montcalm, Muskegon, Newaygo, Oceana, Osceola, Ottawa, St. Joseph, VanBuren, and Washtenaw counties from May 1, 2026 through November 30, 2026. The following herbicides will be applied – Brand Name (Active Ingredient): Arsenal (Imazapyr), Escort XP (Metsulfuron Methyl), Garlon 3A (Triclopyr), Garlon 4 Ultra (Triclopyr), Clash (Diglycolamine), Method 240 SL (Aminocycloyrachlor), Milestone (Aminopyralid Trisopropanolamine), Stalker (Imazapyr), and Vastlan (Triclopyr Choline). Target: Woody Vegetation. Methods of application include foliar, cut stubble, basal, and cut stump treatments. The areas treated should not be walked on until they are completely dry.
