REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS LEGAL NOTICE PUBLICATION SERVICES FOR TRDA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Tellico Reservoir Development Agency ("TRDA") is requesting sealed bids ("Bids" or "Bid") from qualified developers / bidders ("Bidders") to provide proposals to purchase, design, and develop the Baker Creek Residential Development comprised of approximately 80.24 acres located along the East Tellico Parkway in Greenback, Tennessee. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: LOCATION OF PUBLICATION: The detailed RFP can be viewed online at: https://www.tellico.com/images/TRDABakerCreekRFP2025.pdf DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Participating firms shall submit for consideration development concepts, timeframes, budgets, and letters from financial institutions committing the project to be feasible and viable to complete. PROCESS TIMELINE: The following is the anticipated project timeline. Issue RFP 09/15/25 Pre-Submittal Conference Call - 10:00 AM local time 10/21/25 Deadline for written questions from prospective Private Entities 10/31/25 Final RFP Addenda release (if any addenda are issued) 11/14/25 Proposals due 4:00 PM EST local time 01/05/26 Announce Shortlist of Private Entities for RFP phase 01/23/26 GENERAL LEGAL REQUIREMENTS: Deliver sealed hard copies of proposals and flash drive in a sealed box to the address below before 4:00 pm EST/ local time on due date January 5, 2026. AWARD OF CONTRACT: Any representations or statements made within this RFP shall not be considered a contractual obligation by the TRDA and the Private Entities shall not be entitled to rely upon them. TRDA reserves the right to reject any and all submittals and to identify and select the Private Entity which the TRDA, in its sole and absolute discretion, deems most qualified. The respondents shall be solely and totally responsible for all costs associated with responding to this RFP, and the TRDA accepts no responsibility with regard thereto. Submissions will become the property of the TRDA. The TRDA reserves all rights available to it by law in administering this RFP, including without limitation, the right, in its sole discretion.
