Request for Proposals: RFP-26-01 Audit Services
It is the desire of the Rockford Mass Transit District to purchase Audit Services as described in the bid documents. Award will be made to the responsive and responsible firm whose proposal is most advantageous to RMTD's program with price and other factors considered.
The right is reserved to accept any bid or any part or parts thereof or to reject any and all bids. Acceptance of any bid may be subject to concurrence by the Illinois Department of Transportation. Any contract resulting from this bid may be subject to financial assistance contracts between the Rockford Mass Transit District and the United States Department of Transportation and the Illinois Department of Transportation. The Contractor will be required to comply with all applicable Equal Employment Opportunity laws and regulations.

At the above-specified time, the submittals will be publicly opened and acknowledged for evaluation. The responsive and responsible Contractors with the most favorable proposals may be asked for a personal interview with the selection committee. The responsive and responsible Contractor with the most favorable proposal and interview if an interview is requested by the committee will be required to enter into a contract within five working days of receiving written notice of award of this contract. Bids submitted for this work must be good for at least 90 days from the bid due date.
