
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)
Stinson Hall Instructional Laboratory Renovation and Modernization Project
Stillman College, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, is soliciting proposals from qualified architectural, engineering, construction, and design-build firms for the Stinson Hall Instructional Laboratory Renovation and Modernization Project located on the Stillman College campus in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
The project includes the renovation and modernization of instructional STEM laboratories, including demolition of existing laboratory infrastructure and installation of new finishes, laboratory casework, utilities, safety systems, and related improvements necessary to support safe, functional, and code-compliant undergraduate instruction.
This project is funded in whole or in part with federal financial assistance and is therefore subject to applicable federal requirements, including the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA). The selected contractor will be required to comply with BABAA provisions regarding the domestic sourcing of iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials, as well as the associated certification and documentation requirements.
Proposals must be received no later than 2:00 p.m. CST on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.

This notice will be published once per week for three consecutive weeks in accordance with the advertisement requirements of Alabama Public Works Law for construction projects exceeding $100,000.
