REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS: PROCUREMENT OF DESIGN-BUILD SERVICES The Yancey County Board of Education (the "Board") announces the requirement for Design-Build services relating to the installation of an artificial turf surface for the following schools: Cane River Middle School, 1128 Cane River School Road, Burnsville, N.C. 28714; East Yancey Middle School, 285 George's Fork Road, Burnsville, N.C. 28714' and Mountain Heritage High School, 333 Mountain Heritage HS Road, Burnsville, N.C. 28714. The Board is hereby soliciting responses from capable and experienced firms, or joint ventures or combinations, from which a Design-Builder will be selected to provide Design-Build services, including but not limited to, preconstruction/cost estimation, bidding/procurement, and construction services for the Project; final budget and approval by the Board of Education. Deadline for receipt of responses is July 29, 2026 at 3pm. If fewer than three (3) responses are received by the deadline, the secondary deadline is August 12, 2026.
