REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS: PROCUREMENT OF DESIGN-BUILD SERVICES July 21, 2026. The Yancey County Board of Education (the "Board") announces the requirement for Design-Build services relating to repair and renovations to the Stadium at Mountain Heritage High School located at 333 Mountain Heritage HS Road, Burnsville NC 28714. The Board is hereby soliciting responses from capable and experienced firms, including joint ventures or combinations, from which a Design-Builder will be selected to provide Design-Build services, including but not limited to, preconstruction/cost estimation, bidding/procurement, and construction services for the Project; final budget and approval by the Board of Education. Deadline for receipt of responses is July 29, 2026 by 3 pm. If fewer than three (3) responses are received by the deadline, the secondary deadline is August 12, 2026.
