NOTICE
REQUEST FOR TRANSPORTATION TO A NON-PUBLIC SCHOOL FOR THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR
MUST BE FILED IN WRITING BEFORE APRIL 1, 2026
In accordance with New York State Education law, all requests for transportation to a non-public school must be submitted to the Board of Education as described below:
All requests must be in writing. Application forms may be secured from the school district website under the Transportation Department Bus Forms and Information page. Forms may also be obtained in the Transportation Office at 9 MacDonald Avenue, Armonk, NY 10504. Those presently receiving transportation will be sent the form.
Applications must be received by April 1 preceding the year in which transportation is requested. Families who move into the school district after April 1, and after registering with the school district, must apply for said transportation within 30 days of establishing residency.
A new written application must be filed each school year. One application per child must be submitted. Children who are entering kindergarten must also file a copy of their birth certificate to determine age eligibility of 5 years old prior to December 1.
To qualify for transportation the school must be no farther than 15 miles from the child's home. Applications should be mailed to:
