RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLIC HEARING RELATIVE TO CAPITAL PROJECT
WHEREAS, Cherry Hill Fire District #13 deems it necessary to purchase a new pumper apparatus, a new foam unit and one (1) support vehicle; and WHEREAS, the purchase of the new pumper apparatus shall not exceed $1,300,000; the purchase of a new foam unit shall not exceed $260,000 and the purchase of one (1) new support vehicle shall not exceed $125,000.00 for a total of $1,685,000.00. WHEREAS, in compliance with N.J.S.A. 40A:14-84 a public hearing shall be held by the Fire District to allow the public the opportunity to be heard concerning the proposed purchase. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commissioners of Cherry Hill Fire District #13 in the Township of Cherry Hill, County of Camden, as follows: A public hearing shall be held by the Fire District relative to the proposed purchase of a new pumper apparatus, a new foam unit and one (1) new support vehicle for an amount not to exceed $1,685,000.00. The hearing shall be held on December 18, 2025 at 7:00 p.m., at Cherry Hill Fire Headquarters, 1100 Marlkress Road, Cherry Hill, New Jersey 08003. Copies of the Resolution are available to the general public of the Fire District from the date following publication of this Resolution up to and including the date of the meeting. This Resolution shall be published and posted in accordance with the requirements of N.J.S. 40A:14-84. After the public hearing, the Fire District may adopt the Resolution authorizing the purchase of the new pumper apparatus, new foam unit and one (1) new support vehicle for an amount not exceeding $1,685,000.00.
