Box 588 Elmira, NY 14901 PH: 607-737-3577 FX: 607-873-1352 PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: That pursuant to resolution of the Elmira City Council, sealed proposals for Depository for the City of Elmira, New York, as are required to be published for the year 2026 will be received at the Office of the City Clerk, 1st floor, 317 E. Church St., City Hall, Elmira, New York 14901, until 11:00 A.M. on January 12, 2026, from financial institutions. Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud at the regular meeting of the Elmira City Council on January 12, 2026, at 5:30 P.M. in the City Council Chambers, 2nd Floor of City Hall. Proposals will be marked with the title clearly identified on the outside of the envelope. Proposals will be submitted in a SEALED ENVELOPE titled: RFP-361 Proposal for Depository for City of Elmira Funds for the Year 2026 The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Copies of the specifications may be secured from the CHEMUNG COUNTY-CITY OF ELMIRA PURCHASING DEPARTMENT, 150 LAKE STREET, 3rd Floor, Room 309, ELMIRA, NY 14901 between the hours of 8:30AM and 4:30 PM (closed between 12:00 noon and 1:00 PM) on or after December 16, 2025. Attention of Proposers is particularly called to the requirements for ensuring that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their age, race, creed, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, marital status, military status, or sexual orientation, predisposing genetic characteristics, familiar status or status as a victim of Domestic Violence. Each Proposer submitting a Proposal to the Owner shall execute and attach thereto, the Certification regarding Equal Employment Opportunity. Although the Proposer is not required to attach such Certification by proposed sub-contractors to his Proposal, the Proposer is here advised of this requirement so that appropriate action can be taken to prevent subsequent delays in sub-contract awards.
