PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
Proposed Zoning Ordinance Amendments and Land Development Regulations
The Rye Planning Board will hold public hearings on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Rye Town Hall, 10 Central Road on proposed amendments to the Town of Rye's Zoning Ordinances. RZO Amendment 2026-05: Amends Section 190-3.3 HDC. RZO Amendment 2026-06: Adds to Article XI, Section 190-11.1 definition of structure. RZO Amendment 2026-08: Amends 190-5.3 and 190-5.3.1 Condominium Conversion of existing units. RZO Amendment 2026-09: Amends 190-11 Definitions of Driveway. RZO Amendment 2026-10: Amends 190-5.0 Off Street Parkign and Loading. RZO Amendment 2026-11: Amends 190-5.1 Signs and Outdoor Advertising. RZO Amendment 2026-12: Amends 190-5.12G Effluent Disposal Systems changes the reference from Building Code to the Zoning Ordinance. Land Development Regulations LDR Amendment 2025-01: Amends 202-1.14 Definitions of structures, 202-6.2 and 202-6.3 location and clarity of driveways and to align with zoning definition and regulation to follow the NHDOT regulations. LDR Amendment 2025-02: Amends 202-Attachement 5, Appendix E Driveway Regulations to be consistent with the Town's Zoning Ordinance and align with NHDOT.
