SHASTA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE At its regular meeting of September 23, 2025, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Shasta enacted the following ordinance: ORDINANCE NO. SCC 2025-04 AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SHASTA AMENDING THE SPEED ZONE ON UPPER SALT CREEK AYES: Supervisors Crye, Long, Harmon, Plummer, and Kelstrom NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None RECUSE: None SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE: In summary, the ordinance amends Chapter 12.24.90 of the Shasta County Code to limit the speed on Upper Salt Creek for a distance of forty-five hundred feet (4,500) west of the railroad bridge to five miles per hour. The ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect thirty days after adoption.
