SHASTA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE At its regular meeting of December 9, 2025, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Shasta enacted the following ordinance: Ordinance No. 779 AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SHASTA SETTING AND IDENTYING FEES TO BE CHARGED BY THE COUNTY OF SHASTA AYES: Supervisors Harmon, Kelstrom, and Crye NOES: Supervisors Long and Plummer ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None RECUSE: None SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE: The ordinance establishes or imposes new or increased fees for certain permits and other services provided by County, as well as reducing or eliminating other fees. These new or adjusted fees are charged by the following County Departments: Agriculture/Weights & Measures, Clerk of the Board, County Clerk, County Fire, Health & Human Services Agency, Public Works, Recorder, Treasurer/Tax Collector, Resource Management (Building, Environmental Health, and Planning), and some apply countywide. The fees and services descriptions are more fully delineated in the ordinance and its attachments. The ordinance is effective sixty days after adoption.
