SPRINGFIELD UTILITY BOARD
SEEKS APPLICANTS
The Springfield Utility Board (SUB) is seeking candidates to fill a vacancy on its Board of Directors, Position 3, with a term expiring December 31, 2026. The five-member elected Board is SUB's governing body and sets policy for the utility.
Individuals interested in serving as representatives on the SUB Board of Directors must be registered voters who have been residents of the city of Springfield for at least one year prior to this appointment. If appointed by the Board, candidates must be prepared to seek election for the balance of the unexpired term in the November 2026 General Election.
To apply, submit a letter describing your interest and qualifications, and attach a resume that details your professional experience and education. Please note any leadership roles, special certificates and/or Board experience. In lieu of a resume, you may complete the Board Vacancy Application at subutil.com.
