State of Wisconsin City of Algoma Kewaunee County Ordinance Approvals On July 6th, 2026 the City of Algoma Common Council approved the following ordinances: Ordinance No. 862, an ordinance amending Chapter 40 Taxation, Article II Room Tax, Section 40-24 as it relates to increasing the Room Tax Rate. The ordinance increases the room tax rate to 7% effective January 01, 2027. Ordinance No. 863, an ordinance amending Chapter 18, Article III, Section 18-70 as it relates to Fire Inspections.
