NOTICE IS HEREBY given that MELISSA B. JOSEPH, the duly appointed and qualified Administratrix of the SUCCESSION OF VALERIANA B. MALVEAUX, deceased, has pursuant to the provisions of Code of Civil Procedure, Article 3281, has petitioned the Fifteenth (15th) Judicial District Court for authority to sell, at private sale, for the price of ONE HUNDRED FORTY-FIVE THOUSAND AND NO/100 ($145,000.00) DOLLARS, payable in cash, the following described immovable property belonging to the succession, to-wit:
That certain lot or parcel of ground, with all improvements situated thereon, known and designated as LOT 61, IDLEWOOD PARK SUBDIVISION, City and Parish of Lafayette, Louisiana, having frontage of 88.4 feet on Maple Drive, by a depth on the Northwest line of 126.6 feet, a depth on the Southeast line of 125.5 feet and bounded on the Northeast by Maple Drive, Northwest by Lot 62, Southeast by Lot 60, both of said subdivision, all as per plat of survey by Richard C. Spikes, attached to Act No. 679653 of the records of Lafayette Parish, Louisiana.
Being the undivided one-half (½) interest acquired by Valeriana B. Malveaux by virtue of a Cash Sale recorded under Act No. 98-049335 and the undivided one-half (½) interest in the Judgement of Possession in the Succession of Aaron Peter Malveaux, Probate Docket No.: P-20200502, recorded under Act No.: 2020-00029020 of the Conveyances records of Lafayette Parish, Louisiana.
Said municipal property address is 105 Maple Drive, Lafayette, Louisiana.
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with the law made and provided in such cases, notice is hereby given that MELISSA B. JOSEPH, the duly appointed and qualified Provisional Administratrix, proposes to sell the aforesaid immovable property, at private sale, for the price and upon the terms aforesaid, and the heirs, legatees and creditors are required to make opposition, if any they have or can, to such course, within seven (7) days, including Sundays and holidays, from the day whereon the last publication of this notice appears.
