SUMMONS – SERVICE BY PUBLICATION STATE OF INDIANA COUNTY OF MARION IN THE MARION SUPERIOR COURT 24 CASE NO. 49D24-2509-GU-042203, 49D24-2509-GU-042210 IN THE MATTER OF THE GUARDIANSHIP OF MARJORIE JOHANA TRINIDAD LORENZANA, LUIS EDENILSON TRINIDAD LORENZANA, Minors. NOTICE OF SUIT The State of Indiana to the biological FATHER and any other person who may be concerned: On December 10, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in Marion Superior Court 24 in Indianapolis, Indiana, a hearing will be held to determine whether a guardian should be appointed for MARJORIE JOHANA TRINIDAD LORENZANA and LUIS EDENILSON TRINIDAD LORENZANA. At the hearing the court will determine whether MARJORIE and LUIS are an incapacitated persons or minors under Indiana law. This proceeding may substantially affect the rights of MARJORIE and LUIS. If the court finds that MARJORIE and LUIS are incapacitated persons or minors, the court at the hearing shall also consider whether MIGUEL ANGEL PEREIRA should be appointed as guardian of MARJORIE and LUIS. The court may, in its discretion, appoint some other qualified person as guardian. The court may also, in its discretion, limit the powers and duties of the guardian to allow MARJORIE and LUIS to retain control over certain property and activities. MARJORIE and LUIS may attend the hearing and be represented by an attorney. The petition may be heard and determined in the absence of MARJORIE and LUIS if the court determines that the presence of MARJORIE and LUIS is not required. If MARJORIE and LUIS attend the hearing, oppose the petition, and are not represented by an attorney, the court may appoint an attorney to represent MARJORIE and LUIS. The court may, where required, appoint a guardian ad litem to represent MARJORIE and LUIS at the hearing.
