NOTICE TO BIDDERS:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that sealed bid proposals are sought and requested by Tanglewood Community Nature Center, Inc. (Tanglewood) for the following contract:
WALKWAY UPGRADE PROJECT
ZBGA 24910
Bids will be received by Tanglewood until 2:00 P.M. on June 12, 2026. At this time, the bids will be read aloud publicly in the Nature Center Conference Room at the above address. The bids can be received in hardcopy to the above address, or via electronically. Tanglewood and it's representatives will compare all received bids for completeness and value.
Please take notice:
Tanglewood's office hours are Tuesdy through Friday, 9 AM until 4 PM.
Proposals must be made upon and in accordance with bid documents. Plans, Specifications, and Proposal Forms may be requested on or after June 1, 2026 by emailing Tanglewood's Representative, Fagan Engineers & Land Surveyors, PC. No hard copies of the plans and specifications will be provided. PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS THE BIDDER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO OBTAIN ALL BID DOCUMENTS (INCLUDING ADDENDA).
No pre-bid conference will take place. Bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the site and familiarize themselves with the scope and location of the project. If required, Engineer will transmit to all prospective Bidders of record such addenda as Engineer considers necessary in response to questions received.

Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire: Upon selection, for all contracts that equal or exceed $100,000, the contractor will be required to submit to the State a Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire: Construction – For Profit. The questionnaire can be found online at

Insurance Certificates:
Upon selection, all contractors and subcontractors must provide proof of Workers' Compensation and Disability Benefits Insurance Coverage for employees, or proof of exemption from the New York State Workers' Compensation Board.
