Thibodaux Housing Authority Storage Shed and Site Repairs, 2024 & 2025 Capital Fund Program ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The Thibodaux Housing Authority will receive bids for Thibodaux Housing Authority Storage Shed and Site Repairs, 2024 & 2025 Capital Fund Program until 2:00 P.M. on the 4th day of November, 2025, at the Housing Authority Office located at 1425 Eagle Dr., Thibodaux, Louisiana, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the following Contract: Thibodaux Housing Authority Storage Shed and Site Repairs 2024 & 2025 Capital Fund Program Thibodaux Housing Authority Thibodaux, Louisiana Architect's Project No. 2431A Proposed forms of contract documents, including Plans and Project Manual, are on file at the Office of the Thibodaux Housing Authority, 1425 Eagle Drive, Thibodaux, LA 70301, and at the office of Gros Flores Positerry, LLC, 104 Rue Angelique, Suite A, Thibodaux, LA 70301 Complete Bidding Documents for this project are available in electronic form. They may be obtained without charge and without deposit from www.centralbidding.com. Printed copies are not available from the Architect, but arrangements can be made to obtain them through most reprographic firms. Plan holders are responsible for their own reproduction costs. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the Thibodaux Housing Authority, U.S. Government bonds, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory performance and payment bond written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount. Attention is called to the provisions for equal employment opportunity, and payment of not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Specifications that must be paid on this project. The Thibodaux Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause in accordance with the provisions of Louisiana Law. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Thibodaux Housing Authority This project is classified as "Building Construction" and all contractors must meet the requirements of the Contractor's licensing law, State of Louisiana. For any bid submitted in the amount of $50,000 or more, a Contractor shall certify that he is licensed under the provisions of this chapter and show his license number on the bid envelope. Liquidated damages shall be assessed for every day beyond the date of completion, as established in the Supplementary / Special Conditions, in the amount of One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) per consecutive calendar day.
