Town of Ellettsville Board of Zoning Appeals Notice of Public Hearing The Ellettsville Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing to consider a petition by Joel Deutsch, Case No. PC 25-11, for consideration of two variances from development standards: to allow an electronic variable message sign in the Downtown District and to allow an electronic variable message sign less than the required minimum of 150' from an intersection, on the 12th day of November, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., at Ellettsville Town Hall located at 1150 W. Guy McCown Drive. The subject parcel is located at 109 N. Sale Street, north terminus of W. Temperance Street and west terminus of N. Sale Street, more fully described herein as: Commencing at the Northeast comer of Lot 38, Sharp's Addition and the Southeast comer of Lot 27, Beaman's Addition, thence North 36 degrees East 46 feet, thence North 54 degrees West 132 feet to the Northwest line of Lot 26, Beaman's Addition and to the alley, thence Southwest along the Northwest line of Lot 26 in Beaman's Addition and Lot 39 in Sharp's Addition 72 feet; thence South 54 degrees East 132 feet to the Northeast line of Lot 38 in Sharp's Addition; thence North 36 degrees East 26 feet to the place of beginning. ALSO the southeast half of that portion or the alley abutting the portion of the above described tract that lies within the bounds of Lot 39 of Sharp's Addition, which was vacated by Ordinance #89-10 recorded October 23, 1989 in Deed Record 366, page 256 and February 13, 1990 in Miscellaneous Record 197, page 125, in the office of the Recorder of Monroe County, Indiana. Parcel Nos: 53-04-10-203-010.000-013 and 53-04-10-203-060.000-013 Interested persons desiring to present their views upon said request, either verbally or in writing, will be given the opportunity to be heard at the above-mentioned time and place. Written suggestions, photographs and/or other documentation, or objections to provisions of said request may be submitted to the Ellettsville Planning Department prior to 11:00 a.m. on the day of the hearing. The petition may be viewed at the Ellettsville Planning Department, 1150 W. Guy McCown Drive, Ellettsville or online at www.ellettsville.in.us.
