TOWN OF MORRISTOWN MORRIS COUNTY, NJ NOTICE OF ORDINANCE ADOPTION NOTICE IS GIVEN that the following ordinances were introduced at a regular meeting of the Town Council on September 29, 2025, advertised for a public hearing, deemed not inconsistent with the Master Plan on October, 3, 2025 and regularly, duly and finally passed at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Morristown in the County of Morris and State of New Jersey, held on October 28, 2025 at 7:30PM. ORDINANCE O-35-2025 ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 30 OF THE "CODE OF THE TOWN OF MORRISTOWN," SECTION 30-207 REGARDING THE PLANNED WALKABLE NEIGHBORHOOD ZONING DISTRICT OVERLAY Purpose: To amend Chapter 30, Section 30-207 regarding the planned walkable neighborhood zoning district overlay consistent with the Housing Element and Fair Share Plan to address the Fourth Round of Affordable Housing obligations ORDINANCE O-36-2025 ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 30 OF THE "CODE OF THE TOWN OF MORRISTOWN" REGARDING AFFORDABLE HOUSING, TO ADDRESS THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FAIR HOUSING ACT AND THE UNIFORM HOUSING AFFORDABILITY CONTROLS (UHAC) AND TO COMPLY WITH THE TOWN'S ROUND FOUR AFFORDABLE HOUSING OBLIGATIONS Purpose: To amend Chapter 30 of the Code of the Town of Morristown regarding Affordable Housing, to address the requirements of the Fair Housing Act and the Uniform Housing Affordability Controls and to comply with the Town's round four affordable housing obligations NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the following ordinances were introduced at a regular meeting of the Town Council on October 14, 2025, advertised for a public hearing and regularly, duly and finally passed at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Morristown in the County of Morris and State of New Jersey, held on October 28, 2025 at 7:30PM.
