TOWN OF MORRISTOWN MORRIS COUNTY, NJ NOTICE OF PENDING ORDINANCES NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following ordinances published herewith by title were introduced and passed upon first reading at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Morristown, in the County of Morris, NJ, held on September 29, 2025. They will be considered for final passage at a meeting of said Town Council on October 14, 2025 at 7:30PM at which time formal action may be taken. ORDINANCE O-34-2025 ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING THE CODE OF THE TOWN OF MORRISTOWN CHAPTER 7 "TRAFFIC", SECTION 40.2 "HANDICAPPED PARKING ON STREETS FOR PRIVATE RESIDENCES" TO ADD A DEDICATED HANDICAPPED PARKING SPACE FOR A RESIDENT OF 9.5 HAZEL STREET Purpose: To authorize a dedicated handicapped parking space for a resident of 9.5 Hazel Street ORDINANCE O-37-2025 ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR CERTAIN CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AT THE MORRISTOWN MUNICIPAL AIRPORT BY THE TOWN OF MORRISTOWN, IN THE COUNTY OF MORRIS, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, AND APPROPRIATING $189,935.00 THEREFOR TO FINANCE THE COST THEREOF Purpose: To provide for certain capital improvements at the MMA and appropriating $189,935 to finance the cost thereof ORDINANCE O-38-2025 ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR CERTAIN CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AT THE MORRISTOWN MUNICIPAL AIRPORT BY THE TOWN OF MORRISTOWN, IN THE COUNTY OF MORRIS, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, AND APPROPRIATING $6,059,746 THEREFOR TO FINANCE PART OF THE COST THEREOF Purpose: To provide for certain capital improvements at the MMA and appropriating $6,059,746 to finance the cost thereof ORDINANCE O-39-2025 ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE O-30-2023 WHICH PROVIDED FOR CERTAIN CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AT THE MORRISTOWN MUNICIPAL AIRPORT BY THE TOWN OF MORRISTOWN, IN THE COUNTY OF MORRIS, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, AND INCREASING THE FUNDING WITH AN ADDITIONAL CONTRIBUTION FROM DM AIRPORTS, LTD., TO BRING THE TOTAL FUNDING FOR THE IMPROVEMENTS TO $7,475,153.46 Purpose: To amend O-30-2023 to increase the total funding for the MMA improvements to $7,475,153.46 At the date and time stated for further consideration, a public hearing shall be held where all persons interested shall be given an opportunity to be heard concerning this ordinance. The time and date for further consideration of this ordinance is subject to amendment by the Town Council of the Town of Morristown. During the week prior to and up to and including the date of such meeting, copies of said ordinance will be made available in the Office of the Town Clerk located at 200 South Street, in said Town, to the members of the public who shall request same.
