TOWN OF POUND RIDGE
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP):
SCOTTS CORNERS PARKING DISTRICT PAVING PROJECT
Receipt of Bids: Separate sealed bids on forms prepared by the Engineer will be received by the Town of Pound Ridge until 4:00 pm on October 16, 2025 for the Town of Pound Ridge Scotts Corners Parking District Paving Project in accordance with Drawings, Specifications, and other Contract Documents prepared by the Town Engineer.
The project consists of the following:
1. Coordination with the Highway Superintendent, Town Engineer or other assigned representative.
2. Furnish and install 30 tons of aggregate.
3. Fine grading of approximately 500 SY of earth.
4. 5,600 SY of milling of existing pavement.
5. Furnish and install +/- 775 tons of 2" thick asphaltic topcoat.
6. Furnish and install 168 linear feet of asphaltic curbing.
7. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, utilities, and incidentals necessary to complete the Work as specified in the Technical Specifications and as shown on the Plans.
A pre-bid meeting will be held at 11:00 am. on September 25, 2025 at the Pound Ridge Scotts Corners Parking Area, 77 Westchester Avenue, Pound Ridge, NY 10576. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 4:00 pm on October 16, 2025 at the Pound Ridge Town House, 179 Westchester Avenue, Pound Ridge, NY 10576.
Bid documents will be available at the Office of the Town Clerk, 179 Westchester Avenue, Pound Ridge, NY, 10576. Digital copies may be obtained via email from townclerk@townofpoundridge.com and on the town website, townofpoundridge.com.
Each bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable form of Bid Guarantee in an amount equal to at least 5% of the amount of the Bid, payable to the Town of Pound Ridge as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract and file acceptable Performance and Payment Bonds within ten (10) days after the award of the Contract.

The Town of Pound Ridge hereinafter called the Owner, reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any formality or technicality in any Bid in the interest of the Owner.
STATEMENT OF NON-COLLUSION
Bidders are required to execute a non-collusion bidding certificate pursuant to Section 103d of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York.
Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements relating to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Segregated Facilities, Section 109, and Executive Order 11246. Bidders are also required to comply with the provisions of Sections 291-299 of the Executive Law of the State of New York and all other applicable laws and regulations.
The Town of Pound Ridge hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in regard to any Contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex or national origin in consideration for an award.
