ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The Town of Shawangunk, 14 Central Avenue, Wallkill, NY 12589 (in accordance with Section 103 of Article 5-A of the General Municipal Law), hereby invites the submission of sealed bids for:
BOILER REPLACEMENT AT:
THE TOWN OF SHAWANGUNK - TOWN HALL BUILDING
Contract 1-M Mechanical Work
The Bids will be received by the Town of Shawangunk until 2:00 P.M. (local time), on December 2, 2025 at the office of the Town Clerk, Town of Shawangunk Town Hall, 14 Central Avenue, Wallkill, NY 12589 at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read.
Contract Documents, Plans, Specifications, and bid forms as prepared by the Engineer, Shute Consulting Engineering, PLLC, 262 Greenwich Avenue, Suite C, Goshen, NY 10924, for the above project may be obtained at The Town of Shawangunk Town Hall, 14 Central Avenue, Wallkill, NY 12589.
A non-refundable payment by check in the amount of $40.00, made payable to the "The Town of Shawangunk" is required for bid documents picked up at the Town Hall. An electronic copy of bid documents, (pdf format) are also available by email, townclerk@shawangunk.org for an additional handling fee as assessed.
Bid documents are available for examination, at the Town of Shawangunk Town Hall, 14 Central Avenue, Wallkill, NY 12589, commencing on November 21, 2025, during regular business hours.
Only bidders obtaining bid documents through the Town of Shawangunk shall be included in the official plan holders list, and shall receive addendums, if any.
In accordance with the requirements of General Municipal Law Article 5A section 103-g, the bidder is required to include with its bid, either (1) a completed "Iran Divestment Act Certification" form for bidders certification of compliance with the "Iran Divestment Act" or in the case where the bidder is unable to make such certification, (2) a completed form titled "Declaration of Bidder's Inability to Provide Certification of Compliance with the Iran Divestment Act."
Each bid being submitted shall include a completed "Contractor Qualification Statement" on form AIA-305, and an "Affidavit of Non-Collusion", as included in the Project Manual.
OWNERS RIGHTS RESERVED: The Town of Shawangunk, hereinafter referred to as Owner, reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and/or waive any informality or technicality in any Bid in the interest of the Owner.
