NOTICE OF HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE:
That the undersigned has applied to the Planning Board (the "Board") in the Township of Belleville for minor site plan approval in order to use approximately 5,094 square feet of the first floor of the existing mixed-use building as a child day care center at property known as 78-102 Washington Avenue and otherwise known as Block 8503, Lot 6.01 on the Tax Maps of the Township of Belleville. The subject property is located within the 74-102 Washington Avenue Redevelopment Plan District and the use proposed is a permitted use in all nonresidential districts pursuant to the New Jersey Municipal Land Use Law Section 40:55D-66.6. Further the floor area devoted to a child day care use is excluded in calculating the applicable minimum parking requirement pursuant to New Jersey Municipal Land Use Law Section 40:55D-66.6. In order to operate the proposed child day care center as intended the applicant is requesting minor site plan approval in addition to any and all other variances the Board deems necessary for the approval of this application. This application is listed on the Clerk's calendar, and a public hearing has been set for Thursday October 9, 2025 at 6:30 pm at Belleville Town Hall, 152 Washington Avenue, Belleville, New Jersey, second floor (Court Room), at which time you may appear either in person, by agent, or by attorney, and present any comments, questions, or objections which you may have to the granting of this application. Copies of all documents related to this application are available for public inspection at least 10 days before the hearing in the Office of Planning and Development, 152 Washington Avenue, Belleville, New Jersey during normal business hours.
