TOWNSHIP OF EAST BRUNSWICK NOTICE OF ALTERNATE PROCUREMENT METHOD Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:34-6.2(b)(3), notice is hereby given that the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 1, Township of East Brunswick, County of Middlesex, intends to utilize a National Cooperative Purchasing Agreement with the Houston-Galveston Area Council cooperative for the procurement of fire apparatus (Quint) and necessary equipment to make the emergency response vehicle functional. The Board is permitted, pursuant to the above mentioned statutory authority, to utilize a national cooperative as an alternate procurement method. The Board shall discuss and act upon the use of the alternate procurement method at its regular monthly meeting on April 7, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at Old Bridge Volunteer Fire Department, Station 2, Civic Center Fire House, 310 Rues Lane, East Brunswick, New Jersey. The public shall be afforded an opportunity to participate prior to any action being taken. The Board shall also receive written comments from the public through noon on April 7, 2026. All written comments shall be forwarded to: Board of Fire Commissioners, Fire District No. 1, Township of East Brunswick, 680 Old Bridge Turnpike, East Brunswick, New Jersey 08816.
