TOWNSHIP OF MARLBORO FIRE DISTRICT NO. 2 NOTICE PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 2, Township of Marlboro, County of Monmouth, State of New Jersey, shall ask the legal voters of said Fire District on Saturday, February 21, 2026, between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., or longer if necessary, to approve or disapprove the proposed 2026 budget. Said voting shall take place at Robertsville Volunteer Fire Company, 94 County Road 520, Morganville, New Jersey. Fire District No. 2 comprises Election Districts 2, 5, 8, 10, 12, a portion of 18, 19, a portion of 20, and 24 within the Township of Marlboro. The legal voters of said Fire District shall also be asked to elect one (1) Commissioner for a three (3) year term to serve on the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 2. The closing date for the filing of a Petition of Nomination with the Clerk of the Board relative to being a candidate for said three (3) year term shall be on Friday, January 23, 2026.
