Notice is hereby given that the undersigned has applied to the Rockaway Township Planning Board for: 54-30.11G(1)(a){4} Signs in the R-B District
Applicant - Powerhouse Signs
The premises is located on Block 11001 Lot 9
The street address is: 343 MT. PLEASANT AVENUE, ROCKAWAY, NJ
The applicant, Powerhouse Signs, has submitted an application seeking minor site plan approval as
well as "c" variance relief to install an attached sign for a tenant space to be occupied by Skechers. The
site, which is identified by municipal tax records as Block 11001 Lot 9, is located at 343 Mount Pleasant
Avenue in the R-B Regional Business District.
The following variances are required as part of this application & any other variances that may be found necessary during the hearing. 54-30.11G.(1)(a)[4] which establishes that the length of any sign shall not exceed 50% of the length of the facade occupied by the tenant using the sign, up to a maximum length of 25 feet. The sign is therefore permitted to have length of 25 feet, whereas a length of 39'-11 " is proposed.
The application is now on the agenda of the Planning Board and a public hearing has been ordered for _November 17th_ at 7:30 PM at the Rockaway Township Municipal Building, 65 Mount Hope Road, Rockaway, at which time you may appear in person, or by agent or attorney, and present any objections which you may have to the granting of this application. All documents relating to this application may be inspected by the public between the hours of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday at the Planning Department, Rockaway Township Municipal Building, 65 Mount Hope Road, Rockaway
