TOWNSHIP OF VERONA ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT NOTICE OF HEARING PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: That the undersigned has applied to the Zoning Board of Adjustment in the Township of Verona (the "Board") for amended final major site plan approval and associated use and bulk variance relief in order to permit the expansion of a pre-existing med spa use which is not permitted in the zone, to permit the continuation of an existing personal service use with is not permitted in the zone with a new tenant and to permit a new tenant personal service use which is not permitted in the zone within an existing two-story commercial building at property commonly known as 96 Pompton Avenue and otherwise known as Block 807, Lot 13 on the Tax Maps of the Township of Verona. The subject property is located in a C-2 Professional Office Zone and the med spa use and personal service uses proposed are not permitted in the zone. There is also a professional office use occupying the subject property which is a permitted use in the zone and will not be changed as a result of this application. In order to use the subject property as proposed the applicant is requesting amended final major site plan approval, use variances to permit the proposed personal service and med spa uses and a bulk variance for minimum required parking spaces in addition to any and all other variances or waivers the Board deems necessary for the approval of this application. This application is listed on the Clerk's calendar, and a public hearing has been set for Tuesday August 4, 2026 at 7:30 pm at the Verona Community Center, 880 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona, New Jersey, at which time you may appear either in person, by agent, or by attorney, and present any comments, questions, or objections which you may have to the granting of this application. Copies of all documents related to this application are available for public inspection at least 10 days before the hearing in the Office of the Zoning Board, Verona Municipal Building, 600 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona, New Jersey during normal business hours.
