PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., a hearing will be held before the Union City Zoning Board at the Union City High School, 2500 John F. Kennedy Blvd, Union City, New Jersey on the application of the undersigned for site plan and variance relief to construct a third floor and an addition to the rear of an existing mixed use building and convert retail space on the ground floor to an apartment; there will be a total of three units which will each have two bedrooms and an office. The property is located at 804 Kennedy Boulevard, aka Block 43 and Lot 3. The Applicant seeks a d(1) use variance along with bulk "c" variances as to minimum lot area, minimum lot depth, minimum front yard, minimum rear yard, minimum side yards, and off-street parking, as well as any other relief, exceptions, waivers, permits and/or approvals that are deemed necessary or appropriate by the Board. The subject property is located in the R-Low Density Residential Zone.
All documents pertaining to this application are on file at the Office of the Union City Clerk, Municipal Building, and may be inspected during normal business hours, between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Any interested party may appear at said hearing and participate therein in accordance with the rules of the City of Union City Planning Board.
