VILLAGE OF HILLBURN, NEW YORK NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING INTRODUCTORY LOCAL LAW NO. 1 OF 2026 PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Hillburn will hold a Public Hearing on Introductory Local Law No. 1 of 2026 on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at 7:15PM, or as soon thereafter as can be heard. Said Introductory Local Law No. 1 of 2026 is a Local Law to provide necessary tax relief to its elderly residents by excluding Social Security benefits from the income calculation for the real property tax exemption provided under RPTL §467. At the Public Hearing, any person may be heard in person, via teleconference or by prior submission of written comments regarding Introductory Local Law No. 1 of 2026.
