ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
For this project, the Village of West Milwaukee will ONLY be receiving and accepting bids for the 2026 Box Culvert Rehab Project via the online electronic bid service through QuestCDN.com. Electronic bids will be accepted until 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 8, 2026. After the official Bid closing time, the Bids will be opened, reviewed and posted on the QuestCDN.com website. To access the electronic bid form, download the project documents and click the online bidding button at the top of advertisement. The electronic bid form will be available for completion beginning Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be obtained ONLY from QuestCDN. Bid documents may be examined online at https://www.rasmith.com/questcdn.htm or downloaded under login after June 24, 2026, for a non-refundable fee of $45.00. All bidders must file a "Bidders Proof of Responsibility Form" with the Village Engineer on or before 4:00 P.M. on July 6, 2026.
The work generally consists of the following:
Traffic Control - 1 LS; Double 16' x 6' Box Culvert Joint Grouting – 448 LF; End Wall Joint Resealing – 2 EA
Bids shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid Bond, certified check, or cashier's check made payable to the Village of West Milwaukee in an amount of 5 percent (5%) of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. If the successful bidder fails to execute the contract and furnish the required bonds within 10 days after the Award, the Check or Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the Village as liquidated damages.
Bids shall be submitted on the bid form provided and all blanks must be filled in for the bid to be accepted. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days from the date of the bid opening.
The Village reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities not involving price, time or changes in the Work and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids and the right to accept the Bid and Bids which best serve the interests of the Village.
This advertisement is published by the authority of the Village of West Milwaukee, in accordance with Section 985.02(2) of the Wisconsin Statutes.
