WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP LAND USE BOARD COUNTY OF WARREN NOTICE OF HEARING TAKE NOTICE, that on Wednesday December 3, 2025 at 7:00p.m., a public hearing will be held before the Washington Township Land Use Board at the Washington Township Municipal Police Building Located at 211 Route 31 North, Washington NJ 07882 to consider the application of Denise Monahan for the following relief: Variance relief pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70(c) and N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70(d) to permit the construction of an addition to the existing dwelling on the property located at 227 Route 31 North, Washington, NJ 07882, and designated on the Washington Township Tax Map as Block 30, Lot 14. The permitted lot width in the GC District is 150 feet, where 100 feet currently exists and the applicant proposes no change. The permitted side yard in the GC District is 30 feet, where 25.3 feet and 25.7 feet, respectively, exist and the applicant proposes no change. The property is located in the General Commercial Zoning District, where residential uses are not a permitted use in the zone. Applicant reserves the right to supplement its application or seek at the time of public hearing on its application any additional relief, variances, exceptions, and/or waivers as may be required by the Applicant, the Board, and/or the Board's professionals as a result of a review of the application. The application and supporting documents are on file with the Secretary of the Washington Township Land Use Board and may be inspected at the Washington Township Municipal Building, Land Use Department located at 211 Route 31 North Washington, NJ 07882 during regular business hours Monday through Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm.
